Paper + Plastick sign A Loss For Words, tour

Paper + Plastick Records have just announced their recent signing of Boston pop-punk act A Loss For Words. Their debut will be an as-yet-untitled Motown covers album set for release on May 11th.  The release will feature covers of the Jackson 5, Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and more.

Lead singer, Matty Arsenault, had this to say:

Our band listens to anything from American Nightmare to Coldplay to New Found Glory, and everything in between. I grew up listening to R&B and have always wanted to do something like this! We just felt it was the perfect time to try something new and have some fun with it. We’re very excited for everyone to hear us spice up some classic R&B hits!

This album marks the band’s first release with the assistance of a US label, having self-released three EPs and their 2009 full-length debut The Kids Can’t Lose available in Japan via In-N-Out Records.

The band will also be hitting the road starting March 3, 2010 with All Or Nothing and Lyu.
